Nat Silverman is a writer and comedian from New York City. She currently writes and produces for Off Q Comedy, and is the Program Director for the Magnet Theater’s Livewire Program.

She has also written for McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, AWF Magazine, and NYC Webfest-selected series Six Story Walkup, amongst others. Her writing has placed in the Austin Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, and the Big Break Competition.

Nat is also a proud co-creator of Remix: Diversity Sketch Lab, a free 8-week course for people from demographics underrepresented in comedy to write and perform their own sketch show.

You can see her perform, produce, teach, and direct sketch comedy, improv, and stand-up, in various combinations. Catch her onstage at the Magnet Theater, UCB Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Caveat, and festivals around the country (and around the world! (ok, just Canada)).

Nat is a 4th generation New Yorker, and as such has access to the hidden secret subway system that they don't let transplants ride.
